中巴 Youth Forum Part 2!

It's here! We finally did it! The second iteration of the ABCF-ZISU, Barbados - China Youth forum has arrived! And just like last time we have something special in store 😉

The theme for this Youth forum was Climate Change and Sustainable development and as such, our featured speakers were experts in the field, one mature and experienced; and one young and upcoming; hailing from China and Barbados respectively.

Mr. Xinhao delivered a deep and informative speech about the work he has done and opportunities he has both had and created in the Climate change space.

Ms. Ivanna Odle also gave a riveting speech, in which she told us some of her stories and gave us some knowledge about important Climate Change related terms, thereby laying a foundation for the discussion that followed.

The moderators for the night were Joshua Johnson and Alex Atwell, both speakers at the inaugural Youth Forum and former presidents of the UWI Foreign Language Club.

This forum featured the most diverse panel yet, with persons from Venezuela studying French, to students in China studying Korean, to Bajans who teach Chinese!

Last but certainly not least, in light of the amazing video contribution that ZISU gave at the 1st forum to make Barbados feel welcome, a special contribution was made by one of ours to make them feel the same! See if you can guess the voice 😉😎🏖️
