Association of Barbados China Friendship - Zhejiang International Studies University Youth Forum
The inaugural session of the Youth Forum organized jointly by the ABCF and ZISU in Hangzhou, China, took place on October 21st 2022, 8-9:30pm Barbados time (8-9:30am October 22nd in Hangzhou) in hybrid form. The audience was live in Hangzhou; participants in Barbados and elsewhere were invited to join the meeting via Zoom

The topic for the inaugural session was "The Importance of University degrees for entering the workforce" , and the discussion covered the relationship between the major courses and trending careers; the benefits of studying abroad; the benefits of pursuing a University Degree rather than learning an applicable skill; and the benefits of a degree from an entrepreneurs’ perspective, among other topics.

Summary
The inaugural youth session between Barbados and China was a great success thanks to the hard work done on both sides and our fighting spirits when encountering challenges. I am proud to have been a part of it and I am grateful to everyone for making this first session a success! 🥂
